What to expect with the Dotstick Revo?
The DotMod DotStick Revo proves itself as a truly inventive addition to the saturated world of pod vapes. It's available in a range of captivating colours, including clear, smoke, green, orange, red, and purple.
The dotStick Revo breaks new ground by using a Supercapacitor instead of a lithium-ion battery. Supercapacitors can endure over 15,000 charge-discharge cycles, whereas typical batteries manage only around 300. This makes them ideal for applications needing frequent energy storage and release.
With a 700mAh-equivalent energy capacity, traditional batteries become obsolete. Thanks to their low internal resistance, supercapacitors can charge quickly, and the dotStick Revo can fully charge in under 5 minutes using a 30W charger.
The Revo's included pod or tank has a 3.5ml juice capacity and is crafted from transparent plastic, ensuring you can effortlessly monitor your juice level until it's nearly empty. When inserted into the Revo device, it securely clicks into position and offers minimal movement. To refill the pod, you'll need to remove it since the fill port is situated on the bottom side. You'll notice a rubber plug featuring the dotMod logo and an arrow to indicate where to open it.
The dotStick Revo makes use of the dotCoil series coils, which are constructed with mesh SS316L and feature a push-to-fit design. Inserting these coils into the pod's base is quite straightforward, though removing them might require a bit of finesse. The Revo kit includes two coils: one with a 0.7Ω rating and another with a 0.9Ω rating. In total, there are three coils compatible with the Revo, each with specific wattage ranges: 0.3Ω (25-40 watts), 0.7Ω (14-20 watts), and 0.9Ω (12-16 watts).
The Dotstick Revo comes with an adjustable airflow that can range from a restricted MTL to a slightly more open DTL feel.
The DotStick Revo provides two convenient ways to operate it: you can either press the designated fire button or use the auto-draw activation. Additionally, it offers three distinct power settings within a range of 5 watts to 35 watts. Adjusting the power is as simple as pressing the fire button three times, and the LED light encircling the fire button indicates the current battery status. The colours and corresponding power outputs are as follows: Red signifies Low Power, Blue denotes Medium Power, and Green represents High Power. When it comes to battery status, Green signifies 61-100% (3.85-4.2V), Blue corresponds to 21-60% (3.55-3.85V), and Red indicates 1-20% (3.30-3.55V).
